The flowers that have just started blooming in the garden at Julie Flower in Westmead have been named the “Rose Box” after the actress who played the part.
“We have been talking about this for a long time, it’s just been a very long time,” Julie Flower said.
It is believed the box’s owner, Julie Flower, was a fan of the TV show and said she wanted to make sure the roses knew their place. “
It’s so sweet, it never ever came up.”
It is believed the box’s owner, Julie Flower, was a fan of the TV show and said she wanted to make sure the roses knew their place.
“She came in and said, ‘We love you and we need your flowers and we are going to give them to the Rose Box’,” Julie Flower recalled.
“That was a very special moment for us, it was really nice to be able to have her there.”
The box’s recipient was her daughter, Jade, who has also been named Rose Box.
“She loved the roses and they were so beautiful and the flowers were just amazing and they kept on growing,” Jade Flower said of Jade.
“The flowers were a bit too large for a small box, but we made a smaller box that is a little smaller and I think it came in very well.”
Julie Flower said she did not have much to say about the box but added that Jade Flower’s enthusiasm and dedication to the project meant she was very much alive for the Rosebox.
‘A little girl’s dream’ The flowers are still being kept in their box by the owners, who are grateful for the outpouring of support from the public.
“Everyone who’s seen them is so wonderful, it just shows how much they love the flowers,” Jade Flowers said.
Julia Flower said the box will be given away on January 12 to anyone who can identify the person who planted the box, with a chance to win a gift card.
The project has attracted more than 100 people to the garden, and the garden’s garden manager said they were excited to share the joys of the RoseBox.
Jade Flower said Jade Flower and her family had been overwhelmed by the response from the gardeners, and her favourite part of the project was seeing the roses bloom.
A small box that will give the roses a little more space to grow in will be handed out to anyone in the Garden of Hope, as well as the Rose Garden.
